Sydney Therriault Biography
Sydney Therriault was a beautiful young Maryland woman who reportedly died last week after getting stuck in the window of her hotel room in Florida after she locked herself in. Police found her dead in a window of the Grassy Key complex on March 18, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
Ms. Therriault was trying to climb out of her room window at the Pelican RV Resort & Marina in Marathon when she suffocated after getting stuck, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office revealed in a statement.

Sydney Therriault, of Beallsville, Maryland, was 22 years old at the time of her death, on March 18, 2021.

Sydney was dating her boyfriend Dylan Fisher, who was from Poolesville. The couple had been dating for years. Dylan died on December 19, 2017 and the cause of his death is still unknown to the public. However, Sydney always shared the photos of her on her Instagram before her death.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred when Ms. Therriault tried to enter through the window because she did not have the hotel key to her room. She was pronounced dead at the scene and police say no dirty act is expected.
It’s unclear if Therriault was in Florida for spring break.
Tributes for Therriault have been pouring in online from friends and co-workers.

In a statement posted on Facebook, Butler Montessori, the private school in Darnestown that Therriault once attended and also worked as a classroom assistant, said it “brought joy to everyone who connected with it.”
“There are many in our community who have felt the warmth of Sydney’s smile and we will be processing our pain and missing her for a long time,” the school said in its statement. Her friend Megan Harney called Therriaault a “free-spirited, selfless soul.”
“Sydney, many will miss you here, but many up there will welcome you …” she wrote on Facebook.
“Your free spirit to travel and help people and to see the world in your own time has helped encourage me to go out and go my own way. You will never be forgotten since you touched so many. Rest easy beautiful.
