Who is Neil Connery?
Sean Connery’s brother Neil passed away, just seven months after the 007 star’s death.
Younger brother and fellow actor Neil, who appeared in parodies based on James Bond, who played Sean, has passed away at age 82 after a long illness.
Neil starred in the James Bond parody Operation Kid Brother, in which he played 007’s brother, and the 1969 film The Body Stealers. He also appeared in an episode of Taggert in 1989.
Speaking about how his brother felt about Neil quitting his job as a plasterer to get a job in acting, particularly a movie that poked fun at the Bond franchise in the 1967 film Operation Kid Brother, he said: “ People He has said he doesn’t like it. ” what I’m doing, but I think he realizes that I’m not a danger to his career.

Legendary actor Sean gave his younger brother suits and shoes and once gifted him a new Jaguar.
But Neil claimed that Sean had burned out the engine and subsequently sold it for scrap.
Neil’s friend Steve Begg confirmed Neil’s passing on Facebook, writing: ‘My good friend and drinking buddy from Edinburgh Neil Connery passed away early this morning, sad to report.
“ He considered me a mediocre challenge when it came to drinking, but I regarded him with respect.
“ She looked and sounded like his older brother, so hanging out with him was always interesting, to say the least. I miss you Neil.
Family
Neil leaves his wife Eleanor, plus two daughters Martine and Leone.
In October, Eleanor revealed how upset her husband was after the death of the James Bond star and her sense of loss was compounded by not being able to travel to be by her brother’s side.
Speaking from the bungalow they shared in the Corstorphine suburb, she said, “He’s very upset about losing her only brother.”
I would have gone but of course given the times we’re in, no one can travel anywhere for any reason so that’s annoying too.
Eleanor revealed that Neil was also battling a ‘tummy virus’ at the time and Sean’s son Jason informed him of her brother’s passing.
