Kanijah Nigel Crisp, 23, of Garner, was arrested five days after the attack and charged with first degree rape, first degree kidnapping, attempted first degree sex crime and assault with a deadly weapon resulting in serious injury.

The woman agreed to meet a man after speaking to him online. She told authorities that she was never given the man’s name and that law enforcement did not explain how they linked Crisp to the crime.
The woman said she went to an address on Buffalo Road. There, she was repeatedly shot in the head and with a gun, authorities said.
Authorities say the woman was forced to take her attacker to her neighborhood after the attack.
The woman now has a fractured skull and serious injuries. After being beaten and raped, the man stole money online using his cell phone, authorities said.
The victim did not know the name of the man who assaulted her and investigators had to work several days to locate and arrest Crisp.
Crisp is being held on a $ 5 million bond.
