A 26-year-old woman and a 6-year-old girl were found fatally stabbed to death Saturday night at a residence on Monticello Avenue in the Bronx.
The NYPD says they were responding to a welfare check call just before midnight at 4024 Monticello Ave. when they made the discovery.
According to police, the two had multiple stab wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 26-year-old woman was identified as Gabrielle Muniz, who lived in the home. The 6-year-old minor was identified as Rozara Estévez, from the same address.
Police say the individual wanted in the homicide was found dead inside 3475 Bivonia St. He was identified as Caleb Duberry, 34. Details about the investigation have not been disclosed.
