Eric Swalwell Wiki
Eric Swalwell Biography
Who is Eric Swalwell?
Rep. Eric Swalwell reportedly dropped an F-bomb on Friday when he and an aide to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene angrily clashed over the wearing of face masks on the House floor.
The episode comes amid Republican fury that Congress has failed to follow national guidelines to relax the wearing of masks and public confusion over the latest advice.
And it marks the latest example of supposedly disruptive behavior on the part of Greene and her staff.
“I was wearing a mask when I got off the floor,” Swalwell said in a tweet. An @mtgreenee assistant yelled at me to remove my mask.

Eric Swalwell reportedly got into a heated exchange with Greene aide Nick Dyer about mask use in Congress
‘No one should be intimidated for wearing a mask. So I told the bully what he thought of his order.
Unsurprisingly, he was speechless. I’m sorry I wasn’t more explicit. ‘
Viewers suggested that he was explicit enough.
Scott Wong, a Hill reporter, said the aide involved was Greene’s spokesman Nick Dyer, who told Swalwell: ‘Biden says you can take your mask off.’
Swalwell ‘got in his face’ and, according to Dyer, replied, ‘Don’t tell me what the fuck to do!’
A year of restrictions on the coronavirus has seen countless masked clashes across the country.
Conservatives have been irritated by what they see as a violation of personal freedom.
But things changed on Thursday, when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that fully vaccinated people no longer needed to wear a mask indoors.
“ If you are fully vaccinated, you can start doing the things you stopped doing because of the pandemic, ” said its director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky.
But the relaxed stance does not apply to legislators in the House.
The Congressional treating physician eased some requirements on the advice of the CDC, but said masks would still be required on the floor until everyone was vaccinated.
Fully-vaccinated Americans can finally stop wearing their masks
‘Chamber Hall: The current requirement for masks and other guidelines remain unchanged until all members and floor staff are fully vaccinated,’ the updated guide said.
Republicans quickly announced their anger.
“It’s about control,” House Minority Leader Steve Scalise told Fox News on Thursday. He wants to control the house.
The confrontation comes as Greene is accused of launching verbal attacks against Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whom she “aggressively confronted” this week, accusing her of supporting “terrorists.”
A video from 2019 also appeared showing how she had yelled ‘she stops being a baby’ through the closed door of Ocasio-Cortez’s office.
