Who is Yasmin Tas?
A missing ten-year-old girl who sparked an urgent police search after disappearing from her home this morning was found “safe and sound.”
Yasmin Tas was last seen leaving her home in Hassocks, West Sussex, around 8:45 a.m. from today.
Following an urgent appeal, Sussex Police officers confirmed that they had been able to find the missing child “safe and sound”.

Police launched a search for the young woman, who has been linked to Brighton and Hove.
Sussex Police have since announced that Yasmin has been found.
In a tweet, they confirmed, “We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our officers found Yasmin Tas from #Hassocks safe tonight (May 19).
“We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who watched her or RTed her in our post today.
She was described as 5’6 ”, with long dark hair possibly worn back, and was last seen wearing glasses, black leggings, black school shoes and a cream hooded blouse.

In a statement, the force said: “ We are absolutely delighted to announce that our officers found Yasmin Tas of Hassocks safe tonight (May 19).
“ We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who watched her or did RT in our post today. ”
Earlier today, Sussex Police issued an urgent appeal to the public and asked anyone with information to contact them.
They previously said in a statement: ‘We urgently need her help. Yasmin, a 10-year-old missing, was last seen leaving her home in Hassocks this morning (May 19). Have you seen her?
