Who is Tangela Harrell?
A public school teacher was arrested for drunk driving on Staten Island.
Tangela Harrell, 53, was arrested in the Midland Beach section around 12:45 p.m. Saturday after failing to stop at a stop sign and changing lanes, police said.
DWI officials accused Harrell of failing to use a designated lane, stopping at a stop sign and having inadequate mirrors, authorities said.
A NYPD spokesperson said Harrell was arrested at the corner of Edison Street and Lincoln Avenue.
Education did not immediately respond to an email requesting comment.
