Who is Kayla Golding?
Kayla Golding Heartfelt tributes continue to pour in for 29-year-old Kayla Golding, who was found in a pool of blood on the sidewalk after she was allegedly stabbed in the neck shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday night.
She was rushed to hospital, but she died shortly after her alleged attack outside her Townsville housing complex in Far North Queensland.
A 39-year-old man turned himself in to police on Sunday afternoon.

A man and a woman have been charged in the death of Kayla Golding (pictured), who was allegedly stabbed in the neck in Townsville.
Later, detectives conducted a search on a West End property where a 29-year-old Condon woman was arrested and has since been charged with murder.
The 39-year-old Townsville man was charged with complicity in the murder.
Both were denied bail to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on Monday, and police alleged that Ms. Golding knew the couple.
Police confirmed late Sunday that investigations are ongoing as the search continues for “three or four” more suspects allegedly involved in the fatal stabbing.
Meanwhile, distraught family and friends flooded social media with tributes to Ms. Golding, who graduated from Pimlico State High School in 2008 and worked in the hospitality industry, according to her LinkedIn bio.
Friends have also supported her heartbroken mother Michelle, who has changed her profile picture of her to one of her enjoying a drink with her daughter.

Another woman who said that she had known Ms. Golding for more than a decade described her friendship as “unique.”
“ It was a pleasure meeting you all these years, since you turned 18 and ran like crazy through the city to night tours with the music, drawing and coloring all night, until I found little letters from you in my books.
“When I needed someone you were there, thank you for taking care of my dog Storm when he had no place for her.”
Officers attended a unit block on Riverway Drive in the suburb of Condon after neighbors called them to the scene.
According to Acting Detective Inspector Jason Shepherd, Ms. Golding had lost “a lot of blood on the ground.”
“The neighbors have heard a noise, they have looked outside and they have seen the lady lying on the sidewalk,” he told reporters on Saturday.

Other friends have started a sanctuary of handwritten notes and bouquets in memory of Ms. Golding outside her unit block.

Meanwhile, the flood of tributes on social media continues to grow.
“It hurts so much to know that you are gone, I remember all the times we spent time together as if it were yesterday,” wrote one of her friends.
“ I am so devastated to find that such an amazing person has been taken away so soon.
“ You always brought out the crazy thing in me, fly high, beautiful angel, we will miss you forever. ”
Another devastated friend said they couldn’t believe Ms. Golding was gone.
“ You were always so beautiful, your cheeky mouth and smile will be something I will never forget, ” she wrote.
