Who was Shamar Watt?
A shocking new video shows the moment a gunman opened fire at an unlicensed Bronx bar and killed a man in a bathroom argument, police said.
The fatal encounter took place shortly before 4 a.m. on May 9 at a crowded nightclub at 4555 3rd Ave. in Belmont, according to police.
The couple were waiting to go to the bathroom when the 30-year-old victim, identified by police as Shamar Watt, put two women in line for the unisex bathroom.
After the women leave, the two argue over who’s next, the cops said.
Moments later, the shooter approaches Watt on the dance floor and fires twice at “point blank”, hitting him in the head, police said.
Watt died two days later at Saint Barnabas Hospital, police said.
NYPD released the video Friday in an attempt to find the unknown shooter.
