Mollie Taylor found dead in Telford. Her body was found at an address on Hill Road, Overdale on Tuesday, March 23, prompting a murder investigation. It happened after police were informed of an attack on Ms. Taylor on Haybridge Road, Hadley, near a Premier store at 10.30pm on Monday, March 22.

Cause of death
She was found dead a day after being assaulted and named Mollie Taylor. A murder investigation was launched after the 29-year-old man was found Tuesday in a house on Hill Road, Overdale, Telford. Since then, five people who were arrested on suspicion of murder have been released while investigations continue.
Her family praised the “incredible efforts of the emergency services” in trying to save her life.
They added: “We would like to thank everyone for their condolences, but now we respectfully ask that we be given the time and space to cry.” Ms. Taylor was assaulted on Haybridge Road in Hadley around 22:30 GMT on Monday, police said.
“After the incident, he left the scene with a friend, eventually returning to the Overdale address where she was discovered the next day having sadly died,” said a spokesman for the force.
Because West Mercia police officers contacted Ms. Taylor prior to her death, the force said it had referred the incident to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC).

West Mercia Police Det Insp Rich Roberts said: “We would still like to hear from anyone with information related to the robbery that occurred on Haybridge Road Monday night.
“We know that there were members of the public who witnessed the assault, who we have not yet spoken to and we urge them to come forward to help us with our inquiries.”
