Mike Kushnir Biography
A man was arrested last month for the accidental death of a stranger in Upper Manhattan, police said Sunday.
Mike Kushnir, 24, was charged in broad daylight on March 27 with the murder of a teenager on a Washington Heights street.

According to the New York Police Department, the victim, who was previously 21 years old, is a 17-year-old from the Bronx named Gerardo Rivas.
Before dying, the teenager was able to tell police that he was on a corner when his attacker arrived and stabbed him, police sources told the Post at the time.
The victim reported an ambulance near the intersection of 181 Street and Saint-Nicolas Avenue around 2:15 p.m. He was stabbed in the chest, police said.
He was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later.
Arrested
Kushnir, of Midtown West, was arrested on April 8. He was arrested the following day and reportedly returned to custody.
He will be tried again on Wednesday.
On Sunday morning, his attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
