School officials didn’t seem happy with his move, as the rapper was arrested for making it rain. According to The Shade Room, the hip-hop artist was arrested for attempting to start a riot and disorderly conduct, as revealed by Metro Marrs manager Barry Johnson of Since The 80s Records. Several Instagram stories made it onto Marrs’s official account, where we could see the crowd at the graduation ceremony going absolutely crazy when Marrs threw cash into the air.
He had also shared a selfie on his Instagram account of him in the black ceremony gown and captioned it as: “And we left # classof2021.”

According to The Shade Room, the police detained him for disturbing the public order and attempting to start a riot.
As of now, it is unclear whether Migos’ agency partner faces any charges related to the incident or not.
The rapper’s management team later shared a video from his Instagram account where he can be seen being detained by a police officer. They captioned the video snippet as, “#freeme, everyone tag @theshaderoom in the comments # classof2021 I love yallll! (This is his management team) #freemetro will be out in a couple of hours.” Later, Marrs spoke to The Shade Room website and told them:
“I was creating a moment that would be memorable. I had to do that one last time. They were all enlightened! We graduated from high school! ”
The rapper was overwhelmed that he hadn’t seen his classmates all year due to the unfortunate pandemic.
