Who is Julie Hoover?
Julie Hoover, a former teacher at Point of Grace Christian School in Florida, was accused of inappropriate behavior a second time when she was arrested for twerking a male student at a high school prom.
Hoover was previously arrested in June on a charge of ‘teacher engaging in s*x’ with an 18-year-old senior after exchanging explicit
The most recent charge came to light when another student accused Hoover of lewd conduct at a high school prom in April, when she reportedly “played a prank on him and pressured him to drink alcohol.”
The student also said that he felt uncomfortable as soon as Hoover started displaying inappropriate behavior. According to WCTV, other students had reportedly tried to stop Hoover.
For those who don’t know, twerking means a “s*xually suggestive dance characterized by rapid and repeated movements of the hips and jerking of the buttocks, especially when squatting,” as defined by Merriam-Webster. According to court documents reported by the New York Post, the plaintiff’s mother also reported that Hoover was arranging for the student to visit her home while her husband was at work.
It is not known if the student involved in exchanging explicit messages with Julie Hoover in June is the same student who accused her of twerking.
