Anna Eklow, 30, and her husband Erik, 29, were looking forward to enjoying a tasty meal at Kaneo Restaurant, overlooking the picturesque Lake Ohrid in Ohrid, North Macedonia.
But a great barrage of waves crashed against the windows and the restaurant was soon overwhelmed.

Dinner at the restaurant near Lake Ohrid
Ms Eklow said: ‘The water was rough and bumping, the high waves crashed into the restaurant and brought a lot of debris, which spread to the restaurant area.
“Everything was damaged in the restaurant; the furniture, the bar, the equipment, while the water seeped everywhere.
‘The restaurant manager and staff were devastated.
“ It was quite an experience to see Ohrid in terrible weather. At least now we have seen something that most tourists have not seen.
At the end of the clip, staff and customers are standing and pulling chairs out of the water.
