Wendy Williams’ mother, Shirley Skinner Williams, has passed away, the star confirmed on her talk show Monday morning.
‘She died. My mom passed away many, many, many, many weeks ago, ‘the 56-year-old star shared while wearing a dark satin dress. Do you know how you lose track of the day and time? The personality added that her mother passed away ‘beautifully and peacefully and surrounded by love. She did not suffer, thank God.

Wendy added that their relationship grew closer when she left for college.

And Wendy added that she saw Housewives with her mother, as well as the Hallmark movies and the old Frosty movies.
And the star said they were like ‘best friends’.
The news was first shared by a journalist named Courtney Brown, who is a longtime family friend.
Shirley worked as a teacher in New Jersey, where she raised the talk show host along with Wendy’s siblings, Wanda and Thomas.
The matriarch leaves behind her children and her spouse Thomas Williams, Jr.
Shirley appeared often on The Wendy Williams Show and served as a co-host at times.
Writer Brown said Shirley and her grandmother were close friends for 83 years.
