Wasatch High School students charged with threats of terrorism
The Wasatch County School District, Heber Town Police and the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office announced in a press release that two Wasatch High School students had been arrested and charged with “threatening terrorism, crime and threatening a school, a class A.
According to the press release, another student who was aware of the alleged threats reported it to his parents, who then alerted the Heber City police. An investigation is ongoing.
The school district said there is no current threat to the school and that classes will resume Monday morning.
They praised the student who reported it to the police and asked the other students to report other “troubling information.”
