Vincent Tang Biography
Vincent Tang was Tang’s nanny’s boyfriend in 2019 when the incident occurred. He was arrested in November and tried by a grand jury in the Manhattan Supreme Court on two counts of aggravated animal cruelty. His attorney Jason Goldman told The New York Post: “We are grateful that the court, unlike the government, has agreed that continued treatment is a better solution for him than sitting in a cell.”
Together with the council, the court also ruled a 10-year ban on animal ownership and registration with the city’s animal abuse registry.
Tang is believed to have taken Dardaris’s house keys from his girlfriend when she was gone. He then broke into the house and assaulted the dogs. Cell phone footage showed Tang kicking one of the dogs on the roof, before leading him inside. Tang initially pleaded not guilty.
