Utah White Supremacist gangs members
Nearly two dozen suspects linked to Utah white supremacist gangs have been arrested for allegedly selling methamphetamine and other drugs in the state, federal prosecutors said Friday.
The group, 21 documented gang members and their staff, are charged with doing business in Salt Lake City and nearby Ogden, the Utah district attorney said in a news release.
The arrested gang members were linked to soldiers of Aryan culture, silent Aryan warriors or elected noble thugs, prosecutors said.
Investigations
Prosecutors said many of those arrested had been involved in criminal activity in Utah for years. Federal and local authorities opened an investigation into the alleged union in June 2019.
During the investigation, investigators purchased 1.65 pounds of methamphetamine and recovered 15 cannons, authorities said.
The suspects face charges of possession of weapons and drugs.
