The operator advised her to leave her apartment and knock on a door for help. A neighbor took her inside and waited with her until the police arrived.

Following a trial in October, Reid was found guilty of two counts of rape and the 16-year-old was found guilty of two counts of rape and one count of penetrative assault.

Wendy Chappell, CPS North West Senior Crown Prosecutor, called them “dangerous s*xual predators.”

She said: ‘These two young men displayed disturbing predatory behavior when they attacked a woman, who was clearly vulnerable to drink, in order to rape her.
