Connecticut police arrested a man wanted in Texas for the murder of a Virginia woman whose body was found on Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania.State forces arrested Tracy Rollins Jr, 28, of Dallas, Milldale, Connecticut, at the Pennsylvania State Police on Wednesday. He was accused of killing Rebecca Landrith, 47, of Virginia.
Authorities said they believed he would likely be shot elsewhere before his body was discovered Sunday along a ramp on I-80 eastbound in Union County, Pennsylvania.
Landrith had recently visited parts of the Midwest, state police said, and had contact with several states, including South Dakota and Utah.
According to state police, Rollins was awaiting an extradition hearing. It was not possible to establish whether he had hired a lawyer.
