Who is Timothy J. Wall?
Timothy J. Wall, 55, was named a suspect in the terrifying shooting at the Royal Palm Beach grocery store inside The Crossroads complex, CBS Miami reported.
Wall, of Royal Palm Beach, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound during the chaos, according to WPLG.
Police identified the man who opened fire inside a Florida Publix supermarket Thursday morning, leaving a grandmother and her young grandson dead.

Investigation
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on June 10, 2021 that “no motive or relationship was known between the attacker and the victims.” PBSO is continuing its investigation and working to identify what triggered the shooting, authorities said.
Witnesses told the Sun-Sentinel about the tragedy, saying they were running errands when their shopping trip turned deadly for a boy and his grandmother. Lynn Waterman told reporters that she was checking the cash register when she heard the shots. She thought they were popping balloons, she told the newspaper. The cashier said there was a shooter and she started running, she said, according to the article.
“We have three people deceased at this time and we do not have the relatives notified, so please understand that this is a long process,” Barbera told the news station.
Barbera told the news station that PBSO was documenting the scene, interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage and video as part of the investigation and to determine the motive for the shooting.
Publix issued a statement that said, “Our thoughts are with those affected by this tragedy,” according to The Palm Beach Post. “We are cooperating with the local police.
“Everyone ran out of the store and I stood in the parking lot for a while and said to myself, ‘Why am I standing here? He could come out and shoot us, ”Waterman, 61, told the newspaper.
Victim
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said Thursday night that there was no known motive or relationship between the shooter and the victims.
The agency said it would not name either the woman or the baby, who would have turned 2 this month, as the family invoked a Florida law that allows crime victims and their families to hide their names from public reports.
On Thursday afternoon, detectives were speaking with witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage as they tried to piece together what led up to the attack.
Shooting
Witness Joey Mendoza, 62, of Royal Palm Beach told the Sun-Sentinel that he missed the shooting by minutes. His arrangements were to get some sandwiches from the Publix store, he told the newspaper. As he maneuvered into the parking area, he saw police officers running with their guns drawn, he told columnists. “A few minutes after the fact, he would have been there,” he told the newspaper. “That’s my opinion. Two, after three minutes, usually on the grounds that I stopped straight ahead. By then, I didn’t try to get out. I saw them running in, I didn’t escape the vehicle. … They just kept coming. Significantly more than one cruise ship, emergency vehicle after emergency vehicle, fire truck after fire truck. ”
Palm Beach County Commissioner Melissa McKinlay revealed to WPTV that the information discouraged her.
One buyer detailed the terrifying moment the gunman opened fire, recalling how he heard gunshots and employees yelling near the produce aisle.
“I heard, ‘They’re shooting!’ A Publix worker said: ‘Run! Shooting up! Juan Guardia told the Palm Beach Post.
“I was scared. It’s sad because everything happened fast. Everyone was running. Some employees were crying.”
Customer Ron Glassman said he had just parked in the mall and was on his way to another store when about 50 customers ran out of Publix, yelling:
“There is a shooter, there is a shooter! Don’t go in there!”
