Woods was in the Los Angeles Area for a ‘Golf Digest’ Shoot
After serving as host of the PGA Tour Genesis Invitational over the weekend, Woods was on the West Coast for a two-day session with Golf Digest, the outlet reported on February 23.
On February 22, Woods spent time with Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade and comedian David Spade at Rolling Hills Country Club. However, Woods, who had back surgery last month, didn’t play a round of golf or even swing. Woods had explained to CBS’s Jim Nantz the day before that he was waiting for one more MRI before he could return to competition.
“I feel good, a little stiff,” Woods said Sunday. “I schedule one more MRI to see if the ring is finally scarred, and then I can start doing more activities. Still in the gym, still doing the mundane things you have to do for rehab, the little things before you can begin to gravitate toward something a little more. ”
