Arizona police arrested a 14-year-old boy Sunday for killing his mother

The Pina County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that Keen, 45, was pronounced dead at a Mariana residence. Keen’s son was arrested for second-degree murder, according to the Arizona Daily Star.
Keen was reportedly found with obvious signs of trauma, but authorities have not publicly disclosed the cause of death. Police said Keen and her son were visiting Mariana’s home from out of town when the murder occurred.

It is not immediately clear if the unidentified 14-year-old will be tried as an adult.
