Three teens accused of beating up 90-year-old great-grandparents during a home invasion face court over cowardly alleged attack
Three teenagers allegedly attacked an elderly couple after breaking into their home in the middle of the night.
The couple, both in their 90s, woke up to find the men in hooded sweaters inside their Perth home at 1.30am on Wednesday.
The group of adolescents, aged 16, 17 and 18, allegedly attacked the fragile couple, leaving their great-grandparents covered in blood and bruises.
The trio have been arrested and charged for the alleged attack. They are due to face court on Thursday.

The old woman was reportedly punched in the face and suffered bruises on her face, foot, arms and hands during the ordeal.
The teens allegedly threw objects at the old man, one of which hit him on the left side of the head and caused a deep cut.
The group fled the house on foot shortly after.
St John’s Ambulance took both victims to Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Detective 1st Class Ben Delaney said the couple were fine, but the attack shocked them.
A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy have each been charged with aggravated burglary and committing aggravated armed robbery, aggravated unlawful injury and aggravated battery causing bodily injury.
They will appear in Perth Children’s Court on Thursday.
An 18-year-old man has been charged with the same crimes and will appear in Fremantle Magistrates Court on Thursday.
