Who is Svetlana Krivonogikh ?
Vladimir Putin’s alleged lover has posted photos of Monaco on her social media profiles that her daughter ‘beloved girl’ liked, it emerged, after Pandora Papers revealed that she owns a luxurious apartment there through a secret signature on abroad.
Svetlana Krivonogikh, 46, posted three photos that she labeled as taken in Monaco: one showing a fireworks display, one of a rainbow overlooking the ocean, and a third showing yachts in port.
In the photo of the yacht, which was posted in 2014, her daughter Elizaveta responded with a comment that read: ‘Beautiful! I know this place! ‘
It shows the couple have ties to Monaco, following the revelation that Krivonogikh owns a $ 4 million apartment in Monte Carlo that was purchased for her through an offshore firm shortly after the birth of her daughter.
Krivonogikh’s ownership of the fourth-floor house, located in the Monte Carlo Star apartment block just below the famous casino, was revealed in the Pandora Papers leak, which also revealed its total value at around $ 100 million.

Its other assets, many of which are also controlled by offshore firms, include a yacht and shares in some of Russia’s most valuable state-owned firms.
Neither Krivonogikh nor his daughter have commented on the revelations that unmask the hidden financial dealings of world leaders and their associates.
Neither they nor the Kremlin have acknowledged Putin’s paternity, but Luiza told Russian GQ that he “probably” looks like “a young Putin.”
Krivonogikh is said to own a stake in a Kremlin-linked bank and own a portfolio of properties.
It is unclear whether Putin knew the latest leaks would take place when he demanded in a televised broadcast last week an end to “digging into the dirty clothes of some elites” by journalists.
He threatened a ‘state order’ to ensure that the media covered ‘real life’ in the country.
The journalist who first revealed Krivonogikh’s story, Roman Badanin, was later branded a “foreign agent”, while his Proekt Media has stopped work in Russia.
Since she was ‘featured’ by the opposition media last year, student Luiza has become a social media star with more than 80,000 followers, her own fashion line and is in high demand as a DJ.
In recent months, she had spent time in Paris despite Covid-19 restrictions.
Putin’s spokesman said when the story originally broke that the child love allegations were “unconvincing” and “de facto unfounded”, but this has not prevented widespread speculation.
Elizaveta is Krivonogikh’s daughter and is believed to be Putin’s lovechild. Her mother suddenly came into wealth after her birth in 2003
Putin’s relationship with Svetlana reportedly ended the moment he was first romantically linked to Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Alina Kabaeva, 38, a former MP who is now the head of a major pro media company. -Kremlin.
Neither Kabaeva nor the Kremlin have confirmed such a relationship.
Putin has two daughters from his ex-wife Lyudmila, both born when he was a KGB spy.
Dr. Maria Vorontsova, 36, is a geneticist, and Dr. Katerina Tikhonova, 34, a dancer-turned-rock’n’roll mathematician.
Katerina is rumored to harbor political ambitions.
Putin was once told by a BBC Russia reporter that it was an ‘open secret’ that Maria and Katerina were his children, but he refused to confirm the rumor.
Speculation that he has a family with Kabaeva has been met with official denials, but rumors persist.
Putin has previously said: ‘I have a private life in which I do not allow interference. It must be respected. ‘
He deplored “those who with their snotty noses and erotic fantasies lurk in the lives of others.”
Kabaeva is recorded saying that she had met an anonymous man who ‘I love very much’, saying: ‘Sometimes you feel so happy that you even feel scared.’
Pandora Papers are the largest data breach on offshore companies used by the ultra-wealthy to hide their assets, potentially allowing them to avoid large amounts of taxes.
Putin is not mentioned directly in the Pandora Papers, but several members of his inner circle, including Krivonogikh, feature prominently.
Such deals are also used for privacy reasons, as they allow the wealthy to keep their names away from purchasing high-value property, artwork, yachts, and other assets, sometimes for legitimate reasons.
While Putin is not mentioned directly in the newspapers, several of his close associates, such as Krivonogikh, are.
One of the companies through which Krivonogikh owns the apartment was set up for her by a British-born accountant, Eamonn McGregor, who also has ties to other super-wealthy Russians.
Gennady Timchenko, a bureaucrat-turned-oil trader worth an estimated $ 22 billion, is also a McGregor client through the Monte Carlo-based accounting firm Moores Rowland.
McGregor has cared for Timchenko’s assets for two decades, documents reveal, including airplanes and a 130-foot yacht named M / S Lena.
Also mentioned in the newspapers is Petr Kolbin, a childhood friend of Putin whose family owned a house in the village of Imenitsy that Putin’s parents rented when he was a child.
Kolbin initially worked as a butcher, but in 2001, shortly after Putin assumed the presidency, his fortunes suddenly changed. He went into business and prospered, largely thanks to deals with some of Russia’s largest state-owned companies.
He also became a Moores Rowland client and opened several overseas bank accounts containing a fortune of $ 550 million.
