According to News sources, Stephen Grimes of Rockford pleaded guilty to s*xual assault, child s*xual abuse and criminal prosecution of HIV transmission in the 2005 incidents.

Authorities learned of the charges in May 2019, when a doctor’s office worker reported a possible s*xual attack to Rockford police. Tests indicated that the victim also had HIV, WREX reported.

Investigators arrested Grimes, now 33.
