Who was Stella Cattarossi?
Authorities said Stella Cattarossi’s body was found on Thursday, seven days after the collapse of the South Champlain Tower, which left 22 confirmed dead and 126 still missing.
Friends who posted online said the girl was found sleeping next to her mother Graciela, although authorities have not confirmed whether her mother’s body has been found.

Family Statement
Stella’s father, Enrique Arango, a 10-year veteran of the Miami Fire Department, is a member of the rescue team that found the girl and was present when her body was recovered. He had been at the site with his brother.
“ When she realized we were close to where her loved one might have been, she stood next to some of her other fellow firefighters, ” said the Miami Fire Captain, Ignatius Carroll, to WPLG.
“Dad, her brother and the other firefighters who took her out escorted the body through a group of police and firefighters.”
Stella lived with her family in apartment 501 and shared a room with her mother, photographer Graciela, according to WPLG.
Her grandparents, Graciela and Gino Cattarossi, shared another room, and her aunt, Andrea, was also staying with them on a visit from Argentina.
Authorities have not confirmed whether the adults in the family have been found.
A friend posted online: ‘RIP my beautiful friend Graciela Cattarossi and precious Stella. I just found out that you two recovered last night sleeping together. You were inseparable.

A GoFundMe for the family explained that Graciela and Stella moved in with the girl’s grandparents, Graciela and Gino, shortly after she was born.
Her aunt Andrea, who is still missing, has three children in Argentina.
