Death of Simone Norowzian: What happened to Simone Norowzian?
Simone Norowzian was spending the August bank holiday in Margate with her friends when she plunged to her death after jumping over a railing she believed led up a hill and onto the beach. On the night of the incident, Miss Norowzian dined and drank in a Wetherspoon pub before returning to the Airbnb they had rented in Kent Town and playing Truth or Dare.
William Hayman, a friend of Miss Norowzian, escorted her outside and heard a “short, high-pitched scream” as she scrambled over the railing and fell, about ten meters ahead of him, as he yelled to warn her about the cliff, reports Kent On-line.
The young woman fell onto the boardwalk below the cliff and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics at 3.40 am on August 28.

Glover added that the council had discussed whether signs warning of a cliff were needed, and concluded that the balustrade was sufficient. Coroner Joanne Andrews ruled that Miss Norowzian’s death was an accident, with no recommendation made to the local council.
