Australian reality star Shay Razaei, who found fame at Instant Hotel in 2017, died at the age of 33.
Her former co-star Mikey Gelo confirmed the tragic news to the Daily Mail Australia on Sunday, saying: ‘Yes, it is true and very sad. She had her funeral last Wednesday, and her death was the week before.
“Even though we haven’t talked for years, I will always appreciate the fun times … she had a good heart and would always be the life of the party.

Shay’s Razaei stepsister and best friend committed suicide
Not long after her death, Shay’s stepsister passed away and her best friend committed suicide.
In recent days, reality TV star Seven’s Instagram has been flooded with comments speculating that the brunette committed suicide as a result of unrelenting online bullying.
However, Mr. Gelo was not convinced and thought that his death was more likely accidental.

“I have heard from multiple sources that she was using drugs excessively and some other contestants on the show were very concerned about her behavior,” he said.
‘I don’t think he’s the type to commit suicide on purpose. In fact, she loved online trolls and often instigated them and never blocked abusive accounts. ”
Her latest post, a smiling selfie uploaded on May 31, was filled with comments from friends asking the police to investigate “cyberstalkers.”
Her caption read: ‘I know they hate you, but I can’t help but feel blessed … Sorry, there is no shame here. Also to all my beautiful followers to whom I don’t always reply, but their messages are [love heart emojis], you impress me. ‘

He completed the post using hashtags including ‘hating haters,’ loving my tweets’, ‘feeling myself’ and ‘goodbye May’.
‘Rest in peace angel girl. Eternal love, ‘commented one person.
“You were such a beautiful charismatic soul … Rest in peace, beautiful girl,” added another.
Other comments from concerned fans lashed out at “enemies and thugs online.”
Block’s auctioneer, Stu Benson, asked the police to hold the stalkers accountable and wrote: “They have removed their accounts, hopefully their names are enough to do a little research.”
“What a sad world we live in. I hope all trolls feel better,” added another friend.
In recent days, the Instagram account of reality star Channel Seven has been flooded with messages that seem to confirm his death. Many of these comments refer to ‘enemies and stalkers online’
In 2017, Shay revealed to New Idea magazine that her late fiancé Tamim had drowned during a trip to Mammoth Lakes, California, shortly before auditioning for Instant Hotels.
“I got to a point very early in my fiance’s death, where I had to sit down with myself and say, ‘Shay, or you stop living, because right now you are not living. You either jump into the grave with him or you live. “So I auditioned for Instant Hotels, ” he told the publication at the time.
The former paramedic, who hailed from the West Pennant Hills suburb of Sydney, appeared on the show and appeared alongside his friend Mikey Gelo.

Shay was also forced to face the death of two other people close to her.
“My stepsister also died in the same year and one of my best friends committed suicide shortly after [Tamim’s death],” Shay told New Idea magazine.
