Shabaz Khan Biography
Shabaz Khan, 51, pleaded not guilty on Monday to the murders of Saman Mir Sacharvi, 49, and Vian Mangrio, 14.
Dr. Sacharvi, a Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust junior physician, and her daughter were found dead in her smoke and fire damaged home in Reedley, near Burnley, Lancashire, on October 1. .

Appearing at Preston Crown Court via a video link from HMP Manchester, the defendant also denied that the arson was reckless as to whether life is in danger.
A date for the trial, estimated at four weeks, was set for June 9.
Khan, of Ribble Avenue, Burnley, was also detained.
After his death, his family said in a statement: “The world has lost two beautiful, kind, warm and compassionate people, always smiling and ready to help others.
“We will always cherish the beautiful memories of him and celebrate his life.”
