Who is Seb Franklin?
The pillar had been the target of a horrible and violent attack on Wednesday’s edition of the ITV soap opera. Both Seb and his girlfriend Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) were assaulted by Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) and his gang after a confrontation on the channel. Seb was repeatedly kicked, but remained conscious long enough to call an ambulance. But the doctor then approached her, asking: “Would you like to sit down?”
“No, I’d like you to go ahead so I can see my son,” Abi snapped.
The doctor explained: “Sebastian failed the brain stem test. His brain no longer sends messages to his body.”
“His body has shut down, there is nothing else we can do and his heart has stopped.”
“I’m afraid not, I’m very sorry, he has died,” the doctor told him.
“No …” Abi said, before collapsing on the floor, crying in pain, and then sobbing at her son’s bedside and apologizing to him for his belief that she failed to keep him safe.
Cause of Death
Coronation Street viewers were moved to tears watching Friday’s show as Seb Franklin tragically died from his injuries after the horror hate attack on him and girlfriend Nina Lucas. His mother, Abi Franklin, learnt the devastating news alongside Kevin Webster, and she fell to the floor and howled in agony.

While Nina remains in the hospital, she cannot remember much and is confused about who attacked her.
But she may recall seeing Corey, who is her likely culprit, as she begs her girlfriend Asha to lie for him and tell him they were together at the time of the attack, giving him an alibi.
