Sarah Thomson Biography
Sarah Thomson, 28, ran one marathon a day for a week for the Mind charity, completing her final race last Tuesday in three hours and 40 minutes.
She took on the challenge of helping her own mental health after becoming ‘horribly short’ during previous blocks.
But she has not been seen since 2 p.m. Saturday and the police are increasingly concerned for her well-being.
There was a large police presence in her hometown of Newquay, Cornwall, yesterday when the search was expanded.

Police were forced to dispel local rumors that the police operation was related to compliance with Covid restrictions.
Sarah is a former RAF fitness instructor and was taking a health care course with the ambition of becoming a paramedic.
She has numerous endurance event records and has been a professional surfer and dancer.
Sarah has also worked with Bear Grylls as one of their outdoor survival experts and has appeared on ITV’s ‘Bear Grylls Survival School’.
After completing the challenge, she posted an emotional message on Facebook, describing her mental health issues and the pride she felt in completing the challenge.

Police are concerned for the well-being of Sarah Thomson from the Newquay area.
She has not been seen since approximately 2:00 p.m. this afternoon on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

During her remarkable athletic career, Sarah won gold at the 2013 European Martial Arts Championships and finished third in her first ultramarathon the following year.
She then she finished ninth on the Women’s UK Pro Surfing Tour in 2014-15.
At the age of 23, she set the fastest known time for the Wales Coast Path of 870 smiles, with 55 pounds of gear on her back, completing it in just 23.5 days.
