Ryan Gallagher is an American singer-songwriter from Ada Township, Michigan. Ryan was part of The Voice competition and was chosen to be part of Team Kelly Clarkson. Ryan is not new to reality television, he first auditioned for American Idol.

Ryan first auditioned for American Idol. However, he didn’t have that much airtime on the show and never made it to live shows.

Gallagher also appeared in Ex On The Beach: Peak Of Love, which aired on MTV between December 2019 and February 2020. Ryan was in all 14 episodes of that season and had to confront his ex-girlfriend, Magdalena Ruiz, while in the show.

During Monday night’s episode of “The Voice,” host Carson Daly announced that Gallagher would no longer be part of the singing competition. Daly didn’t cite a reason, just saying Gallagher “had to get out of the competition.”
Gallagher took to his Instagram stories to tell fans that the reason for his departure was unrelated to family, having recently shared that his mother was hospitalized for Covid-19.
