Who is Richard Hesketh ?

One of Britain’s most prolific anti-Semitic video broadcasters was jailed for four years yesterday after admitting he incited racial hatred.

Far-right extremist Richard Hesketh posted 4,000 videos ranting about Jewish conspiracies, celebrating neo-Nazi terrorism and supporting violence against the Jewish people.

The images created by the 36-year-old, who operated from his guest room in Middleton, Manchester, were viewed by millions of people around the world, according to a court.

In a video showing a violent attack on a Jewish person, the ‘depraved’ Hesketh expressed his disappointment that the victim had not been killed.

He also dressed up as a parody Jew named ‘George’ complete with a big comedy nose to get clicks from viewers.

Hesketh was investigated by anti-terrorism police after the anti-Semitist charity Community Security Trust gathered evidence.

In jailing him in Manchester Crown Court, Judge Ian Dove said: ‘You sold old tropes and slander against the Jewish people.

“There is a clearly extreme quality to racism and hostility in the material he has written, performed and broadcast.”

Hesketh pleaded guilty to seven counts of incitement to racial hatred between 2018 and 2020.
