Who is Quake Lewellyn?

Quake Lewellyn, 28, is a farmer from Jonesboro, Arkansas, according to local reports.

It is reported that he was arrested on Friday in connection with the disappearance and death of Sydney Sutherland.

The victim and the suspect reportedly knew each other, but authorities have yet to release further details.

He was booked into the Jackson County jail on capital murder charges, according to a local NBC affiliate.

Sutherland was last seen jogging near Arkansas Highway 18 between Newport and Grubbs on Wednesday around 2:30 p.m.

During a press conference Thursday, Jackson County Sheriff David Lucas confirmed that they were notified by a UPS driver that he had seen Sutherland on Wednesday afternoon near County Road 41.

Sutherland normally walked a loop in that area between County Road 41, 42, 43 and Highway 18.

He was wearing a white tank top and black athletic shorts.

His vehicle and other personal items were left at his home.

Authorities recovered his cell phone a quarter mile from his home Thursday night.

Police found a body Friday near the area where he disappeared.

The parents of her boyfriend Alex shared on Facebook about her disappearance and talked about how their son was having a difficult time after the discovery of the body.

The post read: “My beautiful friend asked me to post a comment about her and her family, and Sydney’s family.

Please continue to pray for all of them. As you’ve probably heard by now, they’ve found Sydney’s body. They have arrested the person “accused of committing” this horrible crime. ”

“He has admitted to doing this. Pray also for your family as they have to cope with what happened.

“Pray for guidance, grace, forgiveness, and understanding. This is such a horrible time for everyone. It will take many prayers to understand this. So many hearts are breaking.

“Amy asked me to post this because they are so distraught right now that they can’t reach everyone who has been so nice about food, drinks, calls, and just being there for them.

“He wants you to know how much each and every one of you is appreciated.
