Who is Peter Zorich?
Peter Zorich has worked at the highest levels of the television news industry for more than two decades, including senior positions in all the major national cable news networks, including Fox News Channel, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, and Bloomberg.
Mr. Zorich took a leadership role for the launch of Fox News Channel in 1996. He served as the network’s senior producer of the show “Hannity & Colmes”, taking it to number one on the network. He followed his success by assuming the position of senior producer for “O’Reilly Factor.” There, under his leadership, he helped make the show the highest-rated show on all cable news. For the next ten years, Mr. Zorich served as senior producer on “Dayside,” “Heartland” with John Kasich, and “The Big Story” with Rita Cosby.
Mr. Zorich was also at the forefront of cable network strategic planning and execution for some of the most important and compelling news events of our time. He was a senior producer of special coverage of the Clinton impeachment, the 2000 Florida recount, the presidential and midterm elections, the Republican and Democratic conventions, and the wars in Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan, to name a few.
After serving as a senior producer for “Night Talk” at Bloomberg News, Mr. Zorich took a break from television and went into politics. He launched himself into the political arena, ran for local office in New Jersey, and later served as Director of Communications for a 2008 Congressional campaign.
Mr. Zorich returned to broadcasting when he joined CNN as lead writer for Lou Dobbs and later MSNBC as lead producer. Peter most recently served as the deputy media director for the 2017 presidential inaugural committee.

Fathers and brothers
He is the son of Olympia Dukakis and Louis Zorich. In 1962, Olympia Dukakis married fellow Manhattan stage actor, the Yugoslav-American Louis Zorich. Planning a family, they moved out of town in 1970 to settle in Montclair, New Jersey. It was there that they raised their three children: Christina Zorich, Peter Zorich and Stefan Zorich. She and Louis had three grandchildren.
Louis Zorich was an American actor. He is perhaps best known to television audiences for his portrayal of Paul Buchman’s father, Burt Buchman, on the NBC series Mad About You. He played the role from 1993 to 1999. Zorich died in his Manhattan apartment at the age of 93 on January 30, 2018.

Olympia Dukakis, the veteran theater and film actress whose talent for maternal roles helped her win an Oscar as Cher’s mother in the romantic comedy “Moonstruck,” passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the age of 89.
Dukakis died at her home in New York City, according to Allison Levy, her agent at Innovative Artists. The cause of death was not immediately known, but her family said in a statement that she had had health problems for months.
Dukakis, who was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, had yearned to be an actor from an early age and hoped to study theater in college. His Greek immigrant parents insisted that he pursue a more practical education, so he studied physical therapy at Boston University on a scholarship from the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis.
After earning his bachelor’s degree, he worked at a understaffed hospital in Marmet, West Virginia, and at the Hospital for Contagious Diseases in Boston.
She was best known as a screen actress, she started her career in the theater. Shortly after her arrival in New York City, she won an Obie Award for Best Actress in 1963 for her off-Broadway performance in Bertolt Brecht’s “Man Equals Man.”
