A murderer caught by CCTV fleeing a crime scene with a huge hunting knife after stabbing his friend to death has been jailed for life.
Sean Bulle, 21, stabbed his friend Paulius Petrasiunas, 24, in a broad daylight attack in Heath Town, Wolverhampton, on July 13, 2020.
Bulle plunged a knife into his friend’s chest after a small argument when he was upset by a phone call Paulius had taken, Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard.
Security cameras showed the friends laughing and joking just hours before the brutal attack, while footage from moments after the murder showed Bulle running through the apartments with a hunting knife.
On Wednesday, Bulle was jailed for life after being convicted of murder after a trial.
The chilling stills show the two friends laughing and shopping together just hours before the brutal attack at 5:20 p.m.
In the video, friends are seen entering an apartment block in Chervil Rise, Heath Town.
Just minutes later, Bulle runs off the floors, wielding the terrifying sword he had used to slaughter his friend to death.
Bulle had stabbed Paulius in the chest in a horrific attack that was witnessed by the victim’s partner and his friends.
West Midlands police launched a major manhunt, and two days later, Bulle was tracked to a home in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, and a bag containing the victim’s blood was found.
Bulle claimed that someone else must have hurt Paulius, but later said that he had suffered an epileptic seizure and found the aftermath of the murder.
He then changed his story and claimed that he and Paulius had been “training with knives” before he was killed.

But CCTV showed Bulle fleeing the crime scene with what appeared to be the knife hidden in his sweat pants.
Bulle managed to hide the gun, but police finally found it months later under a pile of garbage between a fence and a wall.
Forensic experts discovered that he was covered in blood from Paulius.
Following a trial in Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court, Bulle was convicted of murder.
On Wednesday, he was jailed for life, to serve a minimum of 20 years.
Detective Sergeant Damian Forrest said: ‘This was the senseless murder of a young man.
Bulle seemed to have been annoyed by a phone call that Paulius had taken and then lashed out with the hunting knife.
‘It left Paulius with severe chest injuries and he died in seconds.
“Sadly, the aftermath of this attack was witnessed by Paulius’s partner and close friends of his, who bravely testified at the trial.
“Despite what he had done, Bulle was captured calmly walking away and then fled the area.
“They quickly identified him as the main suspect and, through intelligence that came after our appeal to locate him, he was arrested within two days of the attack.
“He provided different versions of what he claimed happened, but through the diligence of our staff we reviewed a large amount of CCTV and collected solid evidence.
“This helped create a clearer picture of what happened and our determination was rewarded when we were able to find the murder weapon.
“Bulle has now been convicted of murder and will face many years behind bars.”
