Who is Paul Pogilevsky ?
A Florida member of the infamous Mongols Motorcycle Club has been accused of participating in the brutal execution of an alleged snitch from another gang, authorities said.
Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said Monday that 46-year-old Dominick Paternoster was shot and killed by several Mongols in April because they thought he was cooperating with police.
Paternoster was a member of the Raiders motorcycle gang, a group that Gualtieri described as a lower-tier club that served as a feeder to the more powerful Mongols.
The crews shared a clubhouse in Tampa, he said.
Suspect
One of Paternoster’s suspected killers, Mongolian member Paul Pogilevsky, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the murder.
Gualtieri said the Mongols, who are based in California, have a “heavy” presence in the Tampa Bay area and engage in a variety of criminal activities, from prostitution to arms and drug trafficking.
“These people are not the people you see on a Sunday motorcycle ride,” Gualtieri said at a news conference announcing Pogilevsky’s indictment. “It’s really these gangs of thugs that are terrorizing.”

“This is not something you see in the movies or just happen in California and other places, it’s alive and well here,” Gualtieri said.
