Neculai Paizan, 64, has been convicted of the murder of a woman after he was caught on CCTV moving her body in a wheelie bin.
Agnes Akom, 20, was tragically murdered by Paizan last year.
The lorry driver was found guilty of murder at the Old Bailey today as police released harrowing footage of Paizan pushing a rubbish bin with Ms Akom inside.
Police also released images of the grimy shipping container that Paizan chose to live in without running water, despite owning a £700,000 Notting Hill apartment.
The seedy “home” was where the truck driver killed Akom last year in a furious attack, before throwing her in the trash and burying her under a pile of logs in a park.
Paizan claimed that he woke up to find the young woman dead after she had drugged him.
Paizan was seen several times with Ms Akom near the dumpster in Acton Road, Park Royal, by staff at the nearby Lennox Autos car dealership in the months before the murder.
On the morning of May 9 last year, Ms Akom left her apartment in Cricklewood, north-west London, after telling her partner that she was going to work.
She then exchanged messages with Paizan and a man she worked for, Attila Molna-Feri, a Hungarian coffin maker with whom she had an “intimate relationship.”
Ms. Akom then ordered an Uber to go to Mr. Molna-Feri’s house, but Paizan arrived at the Costa Coffee where she was sitting and, after speaking with him, left with him in her silver Dacia Sandero.
CCTV was played showing the pair later entering Paizan’s disgusting shipping container.
During the trial, prosecutor Jacob Hallam said: “Doors are closing behind him. That is the last time Agnes is seen alive on CCTV.”
The truck driver was next seen approximately half an hour later heading to a faucet to wash off bloodstains, before removing various items from their container in the trunk of his car.
He was seen wearing Ms. Akom’s distinctive white fur coat, as well as pink slip-on shoes, carpet and items matted with her blood and hair.
Later that day, CCTV captured Paizan dragging the wheelie bin toward her car.
The body was then left in his car overnight outside his home on Peel Street, before Paizan went the next morning to Neasden Recreation Ground and buried Ms Akom in a shallow grave under a pile of logs. .
The 20-year-old’s body was found a month later covered in a black plastic bag with a drawstring around her throat.
A pathologist found that her death had been caused by at least 20 blows to the head.
Police found a bloodstain on the spine of a bible in the shipping container, which was found to match Ms. Akom’s profile through a DNA sample.
Paizan, of Peel Street, Notting Hill, denied killing Akom and insisted she had passed out after the victim gave her drugged iced tea at her home.
