Natalie Connolly, 26, bled to death at the foot of a ladder with 40 wounds to her face and body after being attacked by her boyfriend.
Millionaire thug John Broadhurst
Billionaire bully John Broadhurst, 42, admitted to killing his lover after an argument over cocaine at their £ 600,000 home.
But now Natalie’s twin sister Gemma Andrews has spoken out about her family’s anguish that the killer is about to be released from prison after serving less than two years.
Heartbroken, Gemma told Mirror: “Spending 22 months to take someone’s life, how is that possible?
“We do not receive justice. The UK justice system failed us. ”
The bandit’s pathetic excuse for violent sex ended up leading to a legal defense ban earlier this year.
The millionaire real estate developer could have received a life sentence for murder after the December 2016 murder, but escaped with a 44-month wrongful death sentence.
Natalie and John began their affair in 2016, but six months after meeting, he accused her of sending topless photos to another man on social media.
THIS IS NOT JUSTICE’
The mother’s body was discovered wearing only a black skirt that had been pulled up to her waist at the couple’s home in Kinver, West Mids.
She was in a pool of blood at the foot of the stairs, after sustaining more than 40 injuries, including blunt trauma to her head, buttocks and chest.
Natalie also suffered horrible internal injuries that were inflicted during bizarre sex games involving a bottle of carpet cleaner.
He even sprayed bleach on Natalie’s face when she was unconscious because “I didn’t want her to look messy.”
Post-mortem analysis revealed that she died from her injuries associated with alcohol intoxication and was five times over the alcohol limit.
During the trial, Natalie was described by her friends as “a free spirit”, “very funny” and “still life and life of the party”.
Broadhurst insisted on a murder trial in which Connolly willingly consented to violent sex, despite being heavily intoxicated, and prosecutors softened the charge of gross negligence manslaughter.
But her twin sister insists that the defense was wrong and that her beloved sister “didn’t like this kind of thing at all.”
She said: “It made me feel physically bad because I knew the truth. Nat wasn’t the person he was supposed to be.
“It breaks my heart that she is leaving so soon.”
“He killed my sister and put us in hell while trying to blame her for his own death. Not once did she shed a tear.
He immediately pleaded guilty in December 2018 and even dared to appeal his conviction.
However, he must now be released within days of less than two years in prison.
A campaign launched after Natalie’s death led to a ban on so-called “brutal sexual defense” in court.
Activists found that since 2000, the number of men accused of using what has been called 50 Shades of Gray Defense has increased tenfold.
