Hassini, who was on the ITV show from 2015 to 2018, admitted drug offenses in Snaresbrook crown court. He received six years, nine months in jail.

Judge Kwame Inyundo said: “It is clear that you played an important role in supplying high-value drugs.”

Arrested and Charged

When police stopped the car, they found a collection of “burner” smartphones and phones, and a block of cocaine wrapped in duct tape.

Police arrested Hassini in his black Smart car, where he told them that he had “around £ 36,000 in cash, although he had not yet counted it”.

He told the police that he lived at the address of his mother’s house, but the police discovered that he had the keys to the house of his girlfriend’s parents.

When they searched the house, they found three smaller blocks of high-quality cocaine, along with boric acid, a hydraulic press, metal plates, and small amounts of loose cocaine and MDMA.

Police arrested her girlfriend on suspicion of drug trafficking, but she released her after it became clear that she was not involved in the drug operation.

Judge Kwame Inyundo said

Prosecutor Sean Sullivan told the court that Hassini’s cocaine was 85-98% pure.

Judge Kwame Inyundo said: “Mr. Hassini, it is clear that you played an important role in supplying high-value drugs destined for the street supply.

“He must have had some awareness of the scale of the operation.

“You are not the only two young people who are in difficulty as a result of the pandemic, but the people who are in much worse situations than you do not make the decision to commit crime.

“It should be noted that they both knew what they were doing and did it with their eyes wide open.”

Hassini’s Balraj Bhatia QC said: ‘He is a well-known man, a figure of great respect, and therefore the attention the sentence will receive, in terms of the media and social media, is simply more than what would be otherwise.

“Whenever his sentence ends, he will be someone who fell from grace, of a very high level, and he will be known as a drug trafficker.

“He has a very stable and supportive family that lives every day of this custody with him.

‘He is a repentant man, he is a repentant man, and he has apologized before this court, before society and, most of all, for the pain that he has brought to his family and the shame that he has brought to the family. of the. ‘
