The queen has suffered another loss following the death of her former Royal Studs manager Sir Michael Oswald, who passed away at the age of 86.
Sir Michael advised Her Majesty, 94, as well as the Queen Mother, and presided over her racing interests for nearly 30 years.
He died after a long illness on April 17, the same day as the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in Windsor, according to The Times.

On the 2020 New Years honors list, he was named a Knight of the Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order (GCVO).
