The daughter of a feared independent man who once admitted to putting a pair of tweezers to a man’s testicles has been charged with his murder.
Michael John Carroll, 51, was found with two stab wounds in the front of a friend’s house on Ronald Street in Tenambit, in the Hunter region of New South Wales, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Paramedics attempted to treat Carroll at the scene, but were unable to revive him and he died on the spot.
His 23-year-old daughter Maddison Hickson was arrested by police and charged with his murder Sunday morning.

Neighbor Leesa Brinkley told 7 News that she heard the young mother say, ‘Pinch the wound, call the ambulance fast, get him out of here before the police arrive.’
When Ms. Brinkley came out, she saw “police and ambulances everywhere.”
Just 100 meters away, Hickson’s grandmother’s house became the crime scene when evidence was found in her front yard.
Hickson, who has a three-year-old son, initially fled the scene but was arrested when police found her at her home.
She did not request bail and police are still searching for the weapon and motive.
Detective Inspector Ranald Urquhart said police are still looking for a weapon and motive.
“We do not know what led to the incident and that is subject to an ongoing investigation,” he said.
Carroll was a feared independent man known for torturing drug dealers and other criminals.

He faced the court after a series of home searches in 2014.
The police alleged that he wielded a hatchet and a butcher knife and demanded that the traffickers surrender their drugs.
Several victims had cut ears, broken bones and burned body parts.
Carroll admitted to hitting a man with a baseball bat and then using a pair of pliers on his fingers, toes and testicles.
He pleaded guilty to one count of battery causing actual bodily harm.
A source said Carroll “was angry, too angry even for motorcycles.”
