Max Fosh Biography
Max Fosh, 25, who has 375,000 YouTube subscribers, has revealed that he is running for mayor of London “only to get more votes than Laurence Fox.”
In a YouTube clip posted today, Fosh held up a packet of documents and a check as he explained that his name would be on the ballot along with current Mayor Sadiq Khan, Shaun Bailey, Fox and 18 others. In December, Mr Fosh parked in front of the BBC building with his car adorned with his CV and a QR code linked to a video.
After sharing the hack on Twitter, many praised his ‘initiative’, but some users criticized Harrow’s former student for the hack for using his ‘privilege’ to try and land his dream job quickly.
Mr Fox ” 42, will stand against Sadiq Khan in the 2021 London mayoral elections, which will be held on May 6, and campaign to end lockdown for that same month
People walk with banners during a demonstration in Oxford, England, to protest against the coronavirus lockdown restrictions in December last year.
Mr Fosh walked slowly towards the camera along the embankment in central London adding: ‘But Laurence has a ticket which is about his freedom to speak. It’s good policy. Talking is important.
‘So I’m going to talk a bit now to say this. I would like to officially add my name to the voting list for the next mayor of London just to get more votes than Laurence Fox.
‘Who do you think would win? A political party with a backing of £ 5 million or a YouTube guy with a few hundred thousand subscribers. Well, I guess we’ll find out. See you on May 6, Lawrence.
On March 6, Fox revealed that he would oppose Sadiq Khan in the 2021 London mayoral elections, which will take place on May 6, and will campaign to end the lockdown later that month.
Currently, the last remaining lockdown rules in England will be lifted by June 21 per Boris Johnson’s roadmap until the end of the restrictions, but this is subject to change.
Fox’s views on lifting the blockade are in stark contrast to those of Khan, who previously urged the prime minister to ignore “shouting and intimidation” from conservative supporters and reject calls for a swift easing of national restrictions.
Fox told The Telegraph: ‘I am a candidate for mayor of London. With almost all the elderly and vulnerable people who have received his jab, I want the block to be lifted immediately. ‘
He added that even though the government says vaccines are working with hospitalizations and deaths dropping, people are still being told they can’t get back to normal until mid-summer at the earliest.
His campaign will be fully funded by a donation from former political donor Jeremy Hosking, who was ranked 351st on the Sunday Times’ 2019 Rich List.
Writing for the newspaper, Fox referred to the demolition of statues as part of the Black Lives Matter movement and accused the mayor of London of trying to “strip us of our history”, saying that “this extreme political correctness must be resisted.”
Aled Haydn Jones, 44, filming his own video to reply to Max
Sharing the tweet, one user wrote: “I see the rich kids are back.”
Another said, ‘This !!! I feel like it has also quickly become the norm for companies to expect CV in the form of extravagant gifts to the point where they will openly admit to discarding your average document because it is ‘boring’. Just another exclusion of working-class talent. ‘
But despite the mixed reviews about the stunt, he appears to have worked with the station chief, 44-year-old Aled Haydn Jones, filming his own video of him responding to Max.
In the video posted on Twitter, Aled tells Max to send him a private message to discuss his content online, but reminds him that it would have been a good idea to follow Radio1 on social media before applying for a job there.
‘Hi Max Fosh, I’m Aled Haydn Jone, head of Radio One,’ says Aled, ‘You see, I got your QR code and video, thanks for your offer, it was great to see what you can do and meet your work actor roommate. .
‘On the radio front, I’m afraid I just offered 46 new presenters a spot on Radio One between Christmas and January, but I find your suggestion to present our content online interesting, so text me and let’s chat. .
‘P.S. You really should follow the social media of the station you want to work for.’
