Who is Marlene Doyle?
Officers found the body of Marlene Doyle, 32, at Othello Court, Shakespeare Street, at 5:20 p.m. m. last Thursday.
They said “nothing could be done to save her” and that she may have died “several days before the last confirmed sighting of her on Saturday, January 15.”
Her partner Patryk Skupinski, 36, of Othello Court, Shakespeare Street, was charged with murder and her mother, Hanna Skupinski, 57, of Bell Green Road, Coventry, was charged with aiding the offender.
Both will appear tomorrow at Birmingham Magistrates Court.
Concerns arose after she was not seen for days, and officers forced their way into the apartment.
A post-mortem examination confirmed that she died of head injuries. West Midlands Police confirmed.
Cops are now asking anyone with information to come forward and said Marlene’s family was “devastated” by the tragic news.

Detective Inspector Adam Jobson, from the West Midlands Police Homicide team, said: “My thoughts remain with Marlene’s family, who are understandably devastated by what has happened.
“I encourage anyone who has seen anything suspicious in the area in the last week, or has any information, to get in touch.”
