Who is Mahtarr Morgan ?

As reported by Metro, her defense attorney at the time said:
Morgan received a 22-month suspended sentence at Warwick Crown Court in 2019 after robbing a schoolboy at knife point.
On that occasion, he avoided an immediate prison sentence after a judge took into account his ‘surprising attenuation’ after being told that he had put his parents through ‘hell’ and his father believed that his son had changed his life.
As reported by Metro, her defense attorney at the time said: “His father is a lay magistrate in Birmingham. He has described how his son has put him and his mother through hell, but he was eager for me to know how he thinks his son has changed his life and is a different young man. ”
But Judge Roderick Henderson, sitting in Birmingham Crown Court, jailed Morgan for 22 months for his latest crimes and told him: ‘This is the fourth time you’ve been sentenced for possession of offensive weapons.
“This was a brutal attack by two armed people.”
Three days before the attack, the victim had agreed to buy balloons from the defendant on behalf of a friend, the court heard.
“His friend of hers changed his mind and the defendant was informed and he (Morgan) didn’t take it that well,” said Omar Majid, defendant.
Morgan said that he would “catch” the victim that, for the next few days, he did everything he could to avoid.
But on May 6 of this year, shortly after midnight, the victim was passing an address on Victoria Street, Small Heath, when he was discovered by Morgan, who was with two of his friends.

He was chased and fled to a store where he was followed by men, including Morgan, who was armed with a baseball bat.
The man tried to run behind a cash register, but the defendant hit him in the front and back of the head with the gun.
Morgan broke several items in the store, appeared to leave, but then returned and struck the victim again.
He was also stabbed in the stomach by one of the other men. He was later taken to the hospital and stitches were placed in the wound.
While the attack was taking place, the merchant pressed a panic button and the victim told him ‘he was afraid that the attackers would kill him’.
Morgan, of Lyall Grove, Solihull, had previously admitted to the assault and possessed an offensive weapon.
Andrew Howarth, defending, said: ‘He is an intelligent man who lives with his parents. His father is a driving instructor and his mother works for the environmental agency.
He “He has run his own business for about a year, a media services business.”
