Lawrence Anderson, an Oklahoma man suspected of murdering three people and wounding one, has now confessed that he killed one of them and then cut her heart and cooked it to feed his home, according to authorities.
Lawrence Anderson allegedly killed 41-year-old Andrea Lynn Blankenship at her Chickasha home on February 9, 2021. “He took the heart back to 214 West Minnesota, Chickasha,” wrote an agent with the State Bureau of Investigation Oklahoma in a search warrant obtained by The Oklahoman. “He cooked the heart with potatoes to feed his house and cast out demons.”

Anderson was staying at the 214 West Minnesota tackle along with his aunt, Delsie Pye, and his uncle, Leon Pye, 67, after his early release from jail in January 2021. He had been sentenced in 2017 to serve 20 years. behind bars, but left after Gov. Kevin Stitt commuted his time. After killing Blankenship, Anderson, 42, made his way back to the Pye house, where he cooked the heart with the intention of giving it to her.On the same day, February 9, the police received a call to hang up 911 from Pye’s residence. Chickasha police were dispatched to the home and attempted to contact the owner. Pye and her 4-year-old granddaughter, Kaeos Yates, were discovered dead inside and two others injured. Pye’s wife, Delsie, was “mutilated during the attack” and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, authorities said. Anderson was allegedly observed “vomiting” on pillows at the scene. It is unclear at this time if the suspect had been using drugs prior to the murders.
Authorities found Blankenship’s body two days after Anderson confessed at a hospital in Oklahoma Metropolis, the place where he was being held. He is now being held in the Grady County Jail after his release from the hospital on February 15 and charges are pending.
Anderson’s repeated history of incarceration began in 2006 when he was sentenced for possession of crack and for threatening his girlfriend with a gun. He reportedly served less than two years of a four-year sentence. Six years after his first sentence, Anderson was sentenced to 15 years for selling crack near an elementary school. Five years after that sentence in 2017, he was released from prison again, but his sentence also included two decades of probation. According to the report, Anderson quickly violated probation by possessing a gun and using PCP and cocaine, he was jailed the same year for his 20th birthday.
