Who is Kory Yeshua?

Kory Yeshua, who lives in Riverside County, California, posted the video on TikTok last month in which he discusses the controversial teachings with his six-year-old daughter Royalty.

The father, who is staunchly conservative, said he refuses to allow his children to be affected by critical race theory.

Yeshua, whose social media is littered with videos of himself criticizing Democrats, said he is choosing instead to teach his children that they are what they want to be if they work hard.

In an interview with DailyMail.com, Yeshua said that he is rejecting the theory because children are taught an agenda that black and white children are “separated” due to the color of their skin.

Yeshua tells his daughter:

“It’s always the same, trying to teach black and white kids that they are separate,” he said.

“We have a lot to worry about in America, we don’t need to teach children that they are oppressive or oppressed based on the melanin content of their skin.”

Her video has gone viral since it was posted on May 19 and has been viewed more than 60,000 times on TikTok and Instagram.

In the video, Yeshua tells her daughter: ‘Dad teaches you that you can be anything in this world that you want to be. Doesn’t dad teach you that?

His daughter responds: ‘It doesn’t matter if you are black or white or of any color.’

“The way we treat people is based on who they are and not what color they are,” added Yeshua.

The girl then intervened: ‘And if they are kind and smart.’

Yeshua noted that his daughter’s interpretation was evidence of how most children think.

‘Look, this is how children think here. Critical race theory wants to end that. Not with my kids, it’s not going to happen, ” she said.

‘My baby is going to know that no matter what she wants to be in life, all she has to do is work hard and she can become that.

‘We need to stop CRT. Period. Point blank.

‘Children do not see the color of the skin. They love everyone. If they’re good people, they love them. ‘

Audio from the original TikTok video has since been removed, although a replay of the clip remains on Yeshua’s Instagram page.

DailyMail.com has reached out to the social media platform to ask why.

“The audio was pulled from the story yesterday, after it started to explode,” Yeshua told DailyMail.com.

‘I don’t know what happened, I haven’t heard anything about it being a copyright issue. I’ve used that music in the background of other posts, and it’s all over TikTok. ‘

Yeshua said his daughter had not been taught critical race theory at her school, but was shown a video several months ago on segregation and Jim Crow.

“About four months ago, her teacher showed my daughter a video about segregation. I had to have a conversation with her about her career after her, and I would have preferred to be able to choose when to do it myself. I spoke with the director, who was very understanding, ”he said.

Yeshua regularly posts videos that criticize the Democrats and the left. He says his policy was inspired by the deaths of two of his brothers, one of whom was murdered and the other died of an overdose, as well as a third brother who is in prison.

In one of his previous TikTok videos, Yeshua addressed the Black Lives Matter movement, saying that he advocates for the ‘destruction of America and the destruction of our families’.

He said he would have supported the movement if he had just called for police reform.

Critical race theory has sparked fierce national debate for the past year in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests and the introduction of Project 1619.

Part of the controversy centers on concerns that children, in particular, are being indoctrinated into thinking that whites are inherently racist or sexist, as the theory is taught in schools.

Opponents of critical race theory have argued that it reduces people to the categories of “privileged” or “oppressed” based on the color of their skin.

Supporters, however, say the theory is vital to eliminating systemic racism because it examines the ways in which race has influenced or continues to influence American politics, culture and law.

In recent months, cases have emerged across the country of teachers and parents saying their children are being forced to learn critical race theory in schools.

Legislators have introduced bills that, to varying degrees, aim to prohibit educators from teaching children that they are “privileged” or “oppressed” in the classroom.

Oklahoma became one of the latest states to enact a ban on teaching critical race theory in public schools, with Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt arguing that it will allow history to be taught without labeling a young child an oppressor.wikipedia
