Koray Alpergin Biography
A RADIO DJ was reportedly put in a car with his girlfriend and shot to death before his body was dumped in the woods.
Koray Alpergin, owner of London station Bizim FM, was found in Loughton, Ess*x, on Saturday.
His girlfriend, who was visiting from Istanbul at the time, has been located and is physically unharmed.
The grim discovery of Koray’s body came two days after concerned friends reported the couple missing.
Police fear they may have been taken against their will in a vehicle from a house in Enfield, north London.
Investigation
Three people have been arrested in connection with the investigation and remain in custody.
It has now been claimed by T-Vine, a British-Turkish news website, that Koray and his partner were put into a car by up to six assailants.
The website reports that the couple was returning from a nightclub when the horror broke out.
While the trusted Turkish news site Hürriyet reports that Koray was shot in the head and died.
Ess*x Police previously confirmed that the DJ’s death is being treated as suspicious and that the Metropolitan Police are now taking charge of the investigation.
Causes f Death
An autopsy will be performed in due course to establish the cause of death.
Tributes have poured into Koray from all over the world after the tragedy.
His father, Tuncay Alpergin, said his son’s place in life will not be filled in a heartbreaking post.
Pal Bay Hic, who had asked for help to find Koray after he went missing, said: “The description of the death of my friend and colleague, dear Koray, who is well known to London society, is a pain and a sadness. impossible…
“I wish my condolences and patience to all who love him, especially his family. May Allah have mercy on them. Amen”.
While Ismail Karakas of the Turkish Press described him as “London’s beloved radio DJ”.
The Turkish Police Association urged the community to come forward with any information and confirmed that they are working with the police.

Detective Chief Inspector Kate Kieran, a crime specialist, said: “I would first like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the man who died. My team and I are working 24/7 to establish exactly what happened.
“This is a very complex and fast-moving investigation involving multiple units across MPS, as well as invaluable support from our colleagues at Ess*x Police.
“While the investigation is at an early stage, a key line of inquiry is that the man and woman were taken against their will in a vehicle on Thursday night.
“A law enforcement presence will remain in the Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate area for the next few days as we work to complete further investigations. We offer our apologies to anyone who has been inconvenienced by the disruption of road closures.
“I can assure the residents of Enfield and Ess*x that we are doing absolutely everything we can to understand the chain of events here and bring those responsible to justice.”
