Fassel led the Giants to two NFC East crowns and three playoff spots during his tenure, including a Super Bowl 35 appearance, a 34-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The last time he coached in the NFL was during the 2006 season as offensive coordinator for the Ravens.
He also spent time during his career as an assistant for the Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals and the Denver Broncos and also as a head coach at the University of Utah.
